Dr. Patricia Sheehan is a Lecturer in Group Fitness & Exercise Programming at WIT. 

She has a particular interest in helping people to exercise, when recovering from cancer or struggling with chronic health problems.

She also works with GAA groups, older adult populations, and gender-specific groups.

Patricia has more than seven year's experience in industry group fitness instruction, and has been awarded a REPs Ireland recognised qualification.

Speaking to Maria, she said that it can be hard to persuade people who have serious health problems, to sign up to an exercise programme, especially when people are suffering from cancer-related fatigue.

However, she says her clients see huge benefits from exercise intervention.
