Busy week ahead on the inter-county front

It's a busy week ahead on the inter-county front with a number of Waterford teams in action.

On Tuesday night, the Waterford minor footballers take on Limerick in Lemybrien from 7pm.

They suffered an agonising one-point defeat to Clare in their first game before going down 1-14 to 0-09 against Tipperary last time out.

On Friday night, the Waterford U-20 hurlers will seek to bounce back from a 0-21 to 1-10 defeat against Cork when they welcome Tipperary to Fraher Field for a 7pm throw-in.

Ken McGrath's men then face away trips to take on both Clare and Limerick in May.

On Saturday, the Waterford senior footballers will take on Clare at Fraher Field in the Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final.

They will be looking to kick on from their historic victory against Tipperary in the quarter-final, which was their first Munster victory since 2010.

WLR will broadcast the game live thanks to George Corbett Skoda - with throw-in at 6pm.
