Waterford head to Cork for Round 2 of Munster MHC

It's Round 2 of the Electric Ireland Munster Minor hurling Championship this evening.

Waterford travel to Pairc Uí Chaoimh to face the Rebels with the Déise hoping to bounce back from last week's narrow opening round defeat to Limerick in monsoon like conditions at Fraher Field.

The Shannonsiders prevailed by 1-7 to 0-7 on what was an awful night for hurling as Colm Hartley hit over four frees for James O' Connor's side.

Waterford have named an unchanged side for this evening's trip to Leeside with joint-captain Sean Mackey listed at full-forward alongside Conor Tobin and Cormac Deevy.

It's a first outing of the campaign for Cork who will be keen to get off to a solid start on their home patch, the other fixture this evening will see Limerick host neighbours Clare at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Throw-in is at 7pm and we'll have updates here on WLR courtesy of Gavin Whelan.
