Waterford hurling team to face Limerick in Munster Championship

The Waterford hurling team to face Limerick on Sunday in their final Munster Championship group game has been named.

Manager Davy Fitzgerald has called for one change to the side that lost to Clare last time out with Shane Bennett making his first start of the summer, replacing Patrick Curran in attack.

Waterford know what they must do to extend their summer past the province with a win or a draw needed over the defending Munster and All-Ireland Champions.

The hosts are similarly on the bubble when it comes to their hopes of making it out of Munster. A loss to the Déise coupled with a Clare win over Tipperary in Semple would see the all-conquering Limerick bow out of the Championship.
