Waterford minors book their place in second straight All-Ireland final

Waterford will play in the Minor Camogie All-Ireland final, following their win over Cork this afternoon in Kilcommon.

Cork were leading by a point, eight to seven, at the break.  Maggie Gostl had raised five white flags with Molly Kearney and Eimear O'Neill bagging a single each.

As they returned for the second period, Rebecca Farrell and Eimear O Neill goaled to make it 2.07 to 0.08 in favour of the Déise.

It took Cork just ten minutes to find the back of the net themselves and combined with their early doors point in the second period, it became a one-score game.

Mark English's side found two more scores, but Cork pointed to stay in touching distance. As they entered injury time, it was 2.09 to 1.09 with a single score in the balance.

Then, a penalty for Waterford deep into injury time was converted by Gostl.

The game ended 3.10 to 1.09, with Waterford advancing to the All-Ireland for the second straight year. They will play Tipperary in the decider following their 1.15 to 1.12 win over Kilkenny.
