Waterpark and City both looking to get back to winning ways

Domestic rugby returns for two Waterford teams this weekend following a round of weather cancellations two weeks ago.

Waterpark will be looking to make some headway to climb from mid-table with four wins from their eight outings to date.

Last time out, Waterpark were beaten narrowly away to Fethard with the home side eeking out a one-score win, 29-24. Outhalf Willie Walsh secured the lions' share of the scores that day, dotting down twice and kicking two conversions, while Paddy Kiersey crossed over twice.

In eight games to date in 2024, Waterpark are yet to win on the road, but likewise, are yet to lose at home.

They're on the road to Kinsale on Sunday at 2.30 pm.

At the same time, Waterford City go in search of their fourth win of the campaign when they hit the road to Killarney.

Derek Whyte's team are in seventh place and four from the bottom after seven games in Division Two.

Much like Waterpark, City have been strong at home, but missed out on chances on the road where they are yet to win a game.

Dungarvan are not playing this weekend. They are back on the pitch on February 18th when they host Scarrif.
