Many artists and performers are teaching online at this time

The knock-on effect of the spread of Covid19 is being felt in the arts community, but the can-do attitude is very empowering. Many performing artists are now finding ways to reach out to their clients and followers online. One of those is Edgar Kirby, who is giving online dance classes to children, and has loads of other plans besides, through The Kirby School of Performing Arts.  Have a listen to our chat here..

Another person who has moved operations online temporarily is Waterford dance artist Bonnie Boux. 

Bonnie discussed with me how she's managed this and what sort of classes she teaches, as well as talking about what life in general feels like right now..

The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival is one of many festivals in Waterford and beyond that has had to cancel this year, due to Covid19.
