Waterford footballer's suffered their fourth successive defeat in Division 4 of the Allianz NFL last weekend going down to Wexford in the South-East derby at the SETU Arena.
Despite an early goal from Darragh Corcoran the home side were pegged back by Wexford who went in leading by two points at the break.
Aaron Beresford produced some quality saves to keep Wexford at bay on a few occasions but the Slaneysiders were full value for their 2-12 to 1-6 victory as they made it back to back wins.
A disappointed Déise manager Ephie Fitzgerald gave a passionate interview to Tomás McCarthy after the game.
Waterford are back in action next Saturday evening.
