Waterford U20 hurling team to face Clare named

Waterford U20 hurling manager Ken McGrath has named his team to take on Clare in the Munster Championship on Saturday in Ennis.

The game originally scheduled for Friday night has been moved to the later throw-in time of 1 pm, Saturday.

The management team have called for three changes to the side that were beaten by Tipperary.

Cian Troy steps into the goal, Mikey Burke starts in the full-back line with Fionn Hallinan coming into the midfield.

There are also seven positional switches to the team. Cillian Ryan moves from full-back to half-back, Joseph O'Keefe moves from half-forward to midfield, Sean Mackey switches from midfield to half-forward as does Evan Spellman.

Jack Twomey moves from full to half forward, while Charlie Treen and Marc Mahony move in the opposite direction.

Without a win so far in the competition, the Déise will be looking to get off the mark in their penultimate outing, ahead of meeting Limerick next weekend.
