Online webinars have become part and parcel of business life

Minister of State for Employment Affairs and Retail Business Damien English took part in an online Q&A with members of Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber. The business owners had a number of questions for the Minister, surrounding Covid payment schemes, issues facing Bricks and Mortar companies, vat rates and the CE Scheme.

Staying on the topic of webinars, Enterprise Ireland has an upcoming series on export issues. The Export Compass Series will run fortnightly from January 28th, over five sessions.

The Aphex Group, based in Tramore, is as company that has many strings to its bow. It deals in Recruitment, Validation, Waste Management Solutions (with its product Chemishield) and, now, recently, has branched into offering Digital Marketing services to clients.

I spoke to owner Kevin Walsh about  plans going forward..

After a particularly tough year, many people are dealing with insolvency right now. It can be hard to look for help, but Director of the Insolvency Service of Ireland (ISI) Michael McNaughten, says help is available and it's important that people reach out.
